We
are looking to hire for one of our clients in an Integration SOA
Solution Designer who will be directly in contact with end users and
data architects, and their aim would be creating the design documents
which will be the entry point for Developers to start with development.
The
SOA Solution Designers will be based in Madrid, Spain and they could be
required to go in an initial phase to North of Europe for client
requirement collection.
Job purpose and accountabilities:

The Solution Designer has responsibility for the technical design of a
solid and scalable solution, working closely with the business customers
to ensure the functional and technical needs are met, adheres to
standards and is efficient in delivery for the overall roadmap.
· The Solution Designer reports to the Delivery Manager responsible for their functional area within the Solution Delivery team

Responsible for translating user requirements into the design of
technical solutions that are cost effective and are in line with the
business strategy.
- Responsible for ensuring that
components and solutions delivered within the Information Systems
programmes and projects, are aligned to architectural framework, working
closely with the wider architecture community.
- Working
closely with the Delivery leads to ensure project plans and deliverables
are continuously reviewed and managed against the solution design.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with the business customers and stakeholders.
- Provides high-level estimates for the delivery of the technical
elements of the project, so that informed decisions can be made about
the best way to deliver the required change.
- Produces detailed design documentation within the agreed framework of change.
- Work collaboratively with the delivery managers, project managers and
stakeholders to ensure each solution design is fit for purpose and meet
the overall roadmap.
· The Solution Designer for a
specific functional area will work closely with the assigned Delivery
Manager and Delivery Lead to translate business needs and functional
requirements into effective technology solutions for both an internal
and external audience as required.
· This role works closely
with the business & IS stakeholders to ensure that the business
strategy for the given domain, delivers against a solution design that
is agreed and understood.
